The 2nd Annual Big Daddy 10K held at Fort Eustis, VA. The race was held on Saturday morning, January 23, 2010 sponsored by the Army Aviation Association of America, Stonewall Jackson
Chapter. The event was in honor of SSG Darryl D. Booker who was killed in the line of duty on January 20, 2007 in Anbar Provice, Iraq with proceeds to benefit the Darryl D. Booker Scholarship fund.The race was conducted and results were generated by the Peninsula Track Club. Conditions at race time were cold with a slight breeze after the start of the race, but thankfully sunny with a temperature at the start
of the race of around 38 degrees.The race almost tripled in size with 120 runners entered the 10K (up from 44 in 2009) with 107 completing the race (up from 41 in 2009). The race was held in Newport News Park, starting and finishing on the Old Stable
Road and followed the roads and trails within Newport News Park
