The National Park Service strictly limits the size of The Chickamauga Chase in all events to 2,000 participants. Over the years The Chickamauga Chase has grown steadily from several hundred runners to nearly 1,700. The Trail Race is limited to 400 participants. These limitation are needed to ensure a safe and orderly event, and to preserve the integrity of our great National Park.
