Hampton Roads Prostate Health Forum 5K Run & 1M Walk, RESULTS

The 1st Annual Hampton Roads Prostate Health Forum 5K held on the Enterprise Parkway around the Hampton University Proton Therapy Institute (HUPTI) in Hampton, VA on Saturday morning, October 24, 2015. . The 5K consisted of three laps around the Parkway. A one-mile walk was held at the same time consisting of 1 lap around the Parkway. The one-mile walk was not scored. The course is
accurately measured, but is not USATF certified.

The race itself was conducted and results were generated by the Peninsula
Track Club. Conditions at race time were perfect for running, clear and
cool with temperatures in the upper 50s at race time.

82 runners entered the 5K with 71 completing the 5K distance.

PURPOSE: To provide a healthy opportunity to raise awareness of prostate cancer issues and treatment options. The run supports the Hampton Roads Prostate Health Forum’s awareness and educational activities.

At the  Hampton University Proton Therapy Institute, 40 Enterprise Parkway, Hampton, VA.  7:00-8:15 – Registration , 8:30 – Race Start (Rain or Shine).. IMPORTANT:  ID REQUIRED TO ENTER CAMPUS ON RACE DAY.
