    Kingswood Recreation Association is hosting our 2nd annual 5K fun run and walk and a 1 mile fun run for kids! The event will be held Saturday June 3, at 8:30 and 8:00 am respectively. All race recipients may spend the day at Kingswood Pool after the race. The race proceeds will benefit Kingswood Pool and Recreation Association. The 1 mile fun run begins at 8:00 am and the 5K run/walk begins at 8:30 am. The awards will be held at 9:45 am with 90+ awards. This race is a Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix Event.

    We are having a 5k to celebrate National Senior Health and Fitness Day here for our residents, staff, their families and running enthusiasts of the community to bring awareness to exercise and wellness. The 5k will take place Saturday, 5/28 at 9am and the course will go through our grounds. We would also like to successfully advertise this event to reach as many runners as possible, so any information about where to post flyers, info, etc., would be appreciated!

     We really hope some of your members will be able to attend. Here is the information:

    • Time: Begins at 9am
