    C&O Canal Towpath

    Start/Finish:
    •C&O Canal Towpath, Carderock Recreation Area, Clara Barton Parkway, Carderock MD between Mile post 10 and Mile post 11 and finishes at the same place.

    Brief Description:
    •On the historic C&O Canal Towpath from Carderock Recreation Area, Clara Barton Parkway, Carderock MD between Mile post 2.0 & Mile post 12.0.
    •Flat, shady, tree-lined, with scenic riverside vistas – the course you always dreamed about!

    Our goal:
    •A low-key, low-stress practice race for anyone training for a marathon, half marathon, or for anyone that just wants the challenge. We provide course support and electronic timing.

  • Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run, Washington, D.C., 7:30 a.m.

    Ten Mile starts and finishes on 15th St. at Jefferson Dr. The 5K Run-Walk starts and finishes on Independence Ave. about 200 yards west of the intersection of 15th and Independence Ave.

    Born in 1984, as the George Washington Parkway Classic, it is among the most scenic and spacious distance races on the East Coast. From the serene beauty of our spacious course meandering through the finest spring bloom in the DC area, to beautiful views of the Potomac and charming streets of Alexandria, the PNC Parkway Classic is a journey that celebrates the simple joys of road racing.
