The 3rd Annual Bobby Stewart 5K & 8K held at Williams Wharf Landing in Mathews, VA to benefit the Gloucester-Mathews Free Clinic and Ware Academy Scholarship and Financial Aid Fund. The races were held on Saturday morning, October 23, 2010. The event was organized with the help of Ware Academy. The races were conducted and results were generated by the Peninsula Track Club.
Conditions at race time were clear, sunny, breezy with temperatures in
the 50s.
A total of 224 runners entered the events, 173 in the 5K and 51 in the 8K. 138 runners and walkers completed the 5K and 50 runners completed
the 8K. Neither course (5K or 8K) is USATF certified.
