Dr. Howard Roesen, a podiatrist, will be the guest speaker on Wed., May 18th. The title of his talk will be “How to Avoid Overuse Injuries”. He currently practices on the Peninsula with Affiliated Podiatrists, A Division of Foot & Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic. He has over 25 years of experience in podiatric medicine, practicing since 1992. He is a clinical professor at Riverside Regional Medical Center and on the faculty of VCOM (Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine). Dr. Roesen received his Doctorate degree in Podiatric medicine from Temple University College of Podiatric Medicine in 1990 after graduation from UVA. He is an avid runner competing in numerous half marathons, marathons, and triathlons since age 21.
