The results for the 2013 Race for HOPE 5K held at the Mariners’ Museum in Newport News, VA on Saturday morning, September 7, 2013. The race was sponsored by Share Heart in Africa, Inc. Finish line and race results services were provided by the Peninsula Track Club. Race course and finish area setup was provided by Race in a Box.The 5K course started and finished near the Mariners’ Museum on Musum Drive. The course ran towards Lion’s Bridge utilizing the roads within Mariners’ Museum Park. The 5K is not USATF Certified at this time. Conditions at race time fine for running – sunny with a slight breeze, low humidity and temperatures around 70 at race time. A total of 89 runners entered the 5K with 67 runners completing the 5K
