The 1st Annual Run 4 Rodney 5K held on the Matteson Trail which circles The Hampton’s Golf Course in Hampton, VA. The race was held on Saturday, June 27, 2015. Proceeds from the event benefited the Sarcoma Foundation of America and the Massey Cancer Clinic. The race itself was conducted and results were generated by the Peninsula Track Club. The 5K took place under good running conditions considering the recent heat and avoided storms that came through earlier in the morning. Conditions were warm and humid with a breeze and temperatures in the upper 70s.
The 5K run followed the Matteson Trail and was run correctly by the
runners. This course is not USATF certified. 120 runners entered the 5K with 97 completing the 5K course.

Race Information: 5K Run or Walk race at 9:00am at Matteson Trail. Same day race registration and packet pickup from 8:00am-8:45am.
