Below and attached FastAndFunky5kall ae the full results for the 10th ANNUAL FAST & FUNKY 5K held in the Sandy Bottom Nature Park, Hampton, VA on Saturday morning, October 23, 2021. The race was sponsored by the Peninsula Track Club benefiting Transitions Family Violence Services, an organization that has provided comprehensive domestic violence services on the Virginia Peninsula for over 40 years.
The course for the FAST & FUNKY 5K was an out-and-back course along the Trillian Trail in Sandy Bottom. The 5K trail course is accurately measured but is not USATF certified at this time. The runners ran the course correctly as measured.
Conditions at race time were perfect for running; partly cloudy with a temperature of 60 at race start. 48 runners, walkers and virtual runners entered the 5K with 31 runners and walkers completing the live 5K.
