Proceeds from the event\u00a0benefited the Sarcoma Foundation of America and the Massey Cancer Clinic. \u00a0The race itself was conducted and results were generated by the\u00a0Peninsula Track Club. The 5K took place under good running conditions\u00a0considering the recent heat and avoided storms that came through earlier\u00a0in the morning. Conditions were warm and humid with a breeze and\u00a0temperatures in the upper 70s.<\/p>\n<p>The 5K run followed the Matteson Trail and was run correctly by the<br \/>\nrunners.
