Heroes like you cure blood cancer! Join us at the Charlotte Be The Match Walk+Run<\/a> on September 26. Participate in our 5K, 1K or Tot Trot and help us deliver cures!<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>The Walk+Run is family friendly and open to all ages. All Tot Trot finishers receive a superhero cape.<\/p>\n

Lake Norman Christian School is home to the event village, which features free refreshments, photo stop, giveaways and a marrow donor registry. Race day registration is simple and every participant receives an event T-shirt.<\/p>\n

Be The Match Walk+Run<\/p>\n

Each year, thousands of patients need a marrow transplant, but have no donor match in their family. They depend on Be The Match\u00ae<\/sup> to help them find an unrelated marrow donor and receive treatment. The cure for blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma and 70 other life-threatening diseases is in the hands of ordinary people \u2013 your hands.<\/p>\n

The Be The Match Walk+Run raises funds to help patients with uninsured treatment costs, support continued marrow transplant research to improve outcomes, and add more volunteer potential marrow donors to Be The Match Registry\u00ae, giving more patients hope for a cure.<\/p>\n
