in Gear 5K was held on the Matteson Trail which circles The Hampton&#8217;s Golf Course in Hampton, VA. The race was held on Saturday, March 26, 2016. Proceeds from the event benefited the Colon Cancer Coalition. The race itself was conducted and results were generated by the Peninsula Track Club. The 5K took place under good running conditions, partly cloudy skies with a slight breeze and a temperature of 54 at race time.\u00a0 The 5K run followed the Matteson Trail and was run correctly by the runners. This 5K course is not USATF certified. 280 runners entered the 5K with 262 completing the 5K course.
