ColdFeet5KWin<\/a><\/p>\nThe award winners for the 10th Annual Grafton Cold F-F-Feet 5K,
\na cross country road race held on the trails around Grafton High School
\nin York County.\u00a0 The race was held on Saturday morning, February 1, 2014.
\nThe 5K is sponsored by the Grafton High School Boosters.\u00a0 The race was
\nconducted by the Peninsula Track Club.<\/p>\n
This year the 5K certainly lived up to its name.\u00a0 Conditions at race time
\nwere sunny and cold with little wind, temperatures around 40, but the
\ncourse which is mostly a trails was over ground that still remained
\nmostly covered with snow and slush from the recent snowstorm.\u00a0 The
\nmodified course was accurately measured, but is not USATF certified.<\/p>\n
99 runners braved the conditions and entered the 5K (down from 177 in
\n2013) with\u00a0 90 (brave) runners completing the course (down from 162 in 2013).\u00a0 The
\nlow numbers were likely a result of the bad weather earlier in the week<\/p>\n
The race officiating and results were done by the Peninsula Track Club.<\/p>\n
