Awards went to the top 3 male and female runners overall and the top 3 in each age group. The races, sponsored by the Junior League of \u00a0Hampton Roads, were held on Saturday morning, April 21, 2012 and was organized to raise awareness of female reproductive cancer and provide support services for women in Hampton Roads. The race itself was conducted and race results generated by the Peninsula Track Club.The Trot for Teal 5K previously held at the Newport News City Center course in the Oyster Point Business Park moved to the roads around the Mariners&#8217; Museum in Newport News. The 8K was added Neither the 5K nor the 8K courses are USATF certified.
