The races were held on Saturday morning, October 22, 2011.<br \/>\nThe event was organized with the help of Ware Academy. The races were<br \/>\nconducted and results were generated by the Peninsula Track Club.<br \/>\nConditions at race time were cloudy and breezy with temperatures in the<br \/>\n50s. A total of 119 runners entered the events, 97 in the 5K and 22 in the 8K.<br \/>\nAwards went to the top male and female runner overall in the 5K &amp; 8K and to thetop 3 in each age group.<\/p>\n<p>Neither course (5K or 8K) is USATF certified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"menu_order":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-3142","ical_race","type-ical_race","status-publish","hentry","Activity-ptc_race"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/peninsulatrackclub.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/ical_race\/3142","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/peninsulatrackclub.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/ical_race"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/peninsulatrackclub.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/ical_race"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/peninsulatrackclub.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=3142"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
