Below and attached\u00a0Sweater5Kall<\/a> <\/strong>are the results for the 2nd Annual Raptor Chapter
\nUgly Sweater 5K Run held in Newport News Park, Newport News, VA on
\nSaturday morning, December 8, 2018.\u00a0 The race was sponsored by the Air
\nForce Sergeants Association Chavpter 358 (The Raptor Chapter).\u00a0 Finish
\nline and results services were provided by the Peninsula Track Club.<\/p>\n

The Ugly Sweater 5K was also the final event in the twelve-race 2018 PTC
\nGrand Prix race series.\u00a0 The awards for the PTC Grand Prix including 2018
\nGrand Prix Champion will be presented at the Annual PTC Awards Banquet
\nscheduled for Saturday<\/span> evening, January 19, 2019.\u00a0 The first event of the
\n2019 PTC Grand Prix will be the Menchville Winter Chill 5K on Saturday,
\nJanuary 12, 2019.<\/p>\n

The Ugly Sweater 5K course consisted of a triple out-and-back starting at
\nthe Ranger Station on Constitution Avenue in Newport News Park.\u00a0 The
\ncourse ran through the Christmas decorations along the length of
\nConstitution Avenue (two of the out-and-backs) with an out-and-back
\nsection on Old Stable Road.\u00a0 The 5K course is USATF certified #VA13054RT.
\nThe runners ran the course correctly as measured.<\/p>\n

Conditions at race time were cold but good for running, partly cludy to
\nsunny with a termperature of 37 at race start.\u00a0 55 runners entered the
\nrace, with 48 runners completing the 5K.\u00a0 Awards went to the Top 3
\nOverall Men & Women.\u00a0 All runners who completed the 5K received finisher
\nmedals.<\/p>\n
