Below are the award winners for the 11th Annual Tabb High School May Day
\n5K held on the roads adjacent to Tabb High School in York County.\u00a0 The
\nrace was held on Saturday morning, April 27, 2019.\u00a0 Proceeds support the
\nTabb High School Track Team.<\/p>\n

Conditions at race time were perfect for running; sunny and peasent with
\na breeze and a temperature of 60 at race start.\u00a0 The course was accuratly
\nmeasured, but is not USATF certified.<\/p>\n

175 runners entered the 5K with 154 runners and walkers completing the
\ncourse.<\/p>\n

Awards went to the top 3 Overall men and women, top 3 Masters (aged 40
\nand over) men and women, the top 3 in each age group and the top 3
\nwalkers, for both men & women\u00a0\u00a0 .<\/p>\n

The 5K race was won by Peter Ramundo, 26 of Manhattan KS in a time of
\n17:05 (5:30 per minute pace).\u00a0 2nd for the men was Joseph MacFarlane, 16
\nof Yorktown VA in a time of 18:47 followed by Tim Ryan, 45 of Yorktown VA
\nfor 3rd with a time of 20:34.<\/p>\n

1st Overall for the Women was Emily Honeycutt, 28 of Newport News VA in a
\ntime of 20:36 (6:38 pace).\u00a0 2nd for the women was Crystal Witte, 33 of
\nYorktown VA in a time of 22:49.\u00a0 Third for the women was Kristin
\nMazzocca, 35 of Chicago IL with a time of 24:20.<\/p>\n

Five new course age group records were set or established in the 11th
\nedition of the Tabb May Day 5K.<\/p>\n

First Overall for the men, Peter Ramundo, 26 of Manhattan KS set a new
\nrecord for Men 25-29 with a time of 17:05, besting the previous record of
\n17:48 set by Todd Kessler in 2011.<\/p>\n

Overall Women’s winner, Emily Honeycutt, 28 of Newport News VA set a new
\nage group record for Women 25-29 with a time of 20:36 improving on the
\nprevious record of 21:04 set by Nicole Hennessy in 2015.<\/p>\n

Myles Ford, age 9 of Yorktown set a new record for Men 9 and under with a
\ntime of 21:49, beating the previous mark of 29:36 set by Jordan Lewis in
\n2015.<\/p>\n

For Men 35-39, Scott Sevigny, 36 of Kathleen GA ran a 20:38 beating the
\nprevious record of 21:19 set by Kyle Aulenbach in 2016.<\/p>\n

Pauline Ely, 80 of Hampton VA established an age group record for Women
\n80-84 with a time of 49:29.\u00a0 Pauline also holds the record for Women
\n75-79 set last year (49:11).<\/p>\n
