HALSTEAD\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The 2nd\u00a0 Annual Race Against the Odds 5K was held on the trails of Sandy Bottom Nature Park in Hampton, VA on Saturday morning, March 29, 2014\u00a0 The 5K race was held in memory of Nicholas Ferris and benefited &#8220;The Cure Starts Now&#8221;, a non-profit supporting the fight against Pediatric Brain Cancer.<\/p>\n<p>The course was an out-and-back course on the park trails.\u00a0 The cours is<br \/>\nnot USATF certified.\u00a0 Conditions at race time we rainy with temperatures<br \/>\nin the upper 50s.\u00a0 Finish line and results services were provided by the Peninsula Track\u00a0 Club.\u00a0 A copy of the results, links to pictures and listings for future\u00a0 road races can be found on the PTC website: www.peninsulatrackclub.com. \u00a0\u00a0 A total of 137 runners entered the event (down from 152 in 2013) with 88 completing the 5K (down from
