The results for the 43rd ANNUAL MULBERRY ISLAND HALF MARATHON & 5K<\/strong> held at Fort Eustis on Saturday, September 7, 2024<\/strong> are posted. The race was sponsored by the Fort Eustis MWR. The Mulberry Island Half Marathon is also the 8th race of the 11-race 2024 Peninsula Track Club Grand Prix.<\/div>\n
The Mulberry Island 5K and Half Marathon both start near and end in front of Anderson Fieldhouse in Fort Eustis. The half marathon course is USATF Certified #VA14019RT while the 5K course is USATF Certified #VA14014RT and both courses were followed correctly by the runners.<\/strong><\/div>\n
The 2024 edition of the Mulberry Island Runs were held under good running conditions, overcast with a slight breeze and a temperature of 70 at race start. 82 runners entered the half marathon with 72 completing the half marathon course. 55 runners entered the 5K with 46 completing the 5K course.<\/div>\n
Finish line and results services were provided by the Peninsula Track Club. A copy of the results, links to pictures from the race and listings for future road races can be found on the PTC website: www.peninsulatrackclub.com.<\/div>\n
A copy of the results is attached to this e-mail both as text files (.txt) and as Word 2003 files (.doc).<\/div>\n
