Below and attached are the award winners and full results for the 2025 Poquoson Run for the Bulls 5K<\/strong> held in Poquoson, VA on Saturday morning, October 25, 2025. The race was sponsored by the Poquoson Education Foundation. The Poquoson Run for the Bulls 5K was also the 10th race in the 12-race Peninsula Track Club Grand Prix for 2025.<\/strong><\/div>\n
The course for the Poquoson Run for the Bulls 5K starts at Poquoson High School, ran on the roads in Poquoson before finishing at Poquoson Primary School. The course was a USATF Certified 5K – VA14036RT – last year and has yet to be recertified, and the previously certified course was run correctly by the 5K runners. The 2-mile course follows a portion of the 5K course with the same start and finish. The 2-mile course is not certified.<\/div>\n
Conditions at race time were perfect for running; clear and sunny with a temperature of 48 at race start. 147 runners and walkers entered the event with 101 runners completing the 5K and 26 walkers completing the 2 Mile course.<\/div>\n
Three new course records were set at the 2025 Poquoson Run for the Bulls 5K.<\/div>\n
5K race winner, Noah Fields, 24 of Yorktown VA set a new age group record for Men 20-24 with a time of 17:47 breaking the mark of 17:53 set by Corbin Armstrong in 2017.<\/div>\n
For Men 65-69, Robert Whitaker, 66 of Yorktown VA set a new age group record with a time of 20:46 besting the previous mark of 22:18 set by Jim Christol in 2014.<\/div>\n
For Women 75-79, Barbara Biasi, 78 of Yorktown VA set a new age group record with a time of 33:35 improving on the mark of 33:56 which Barbara herself set in 2024.<\/div>\n
Finish line and results services were provided by the Peninsula Track Club. A copy of the results, links to pictures from the race and listings for future road races can be found on the PTC website: www.peninsulatrackclub.com.<\/div>\n
