Below are the full results for the 6th ANNUAL TAKING STRIDES FOR BETTER HEALTH 5K<\/strong> held at the Mariners’ Museum Park Warwick Field on Saturday, August 9, 2025.<\/strong> The race was sponsored by the Southeastern Virginia Health System with proceeds to help provide quality health care for uninsured patients.<\/div>\n
The Better Health 5K started in the Mariner’s Museum Park and followed Boundary Road turning around before Lion’s Bridge and utilizing an additional side road off Boundary Road to make up the 5K course. The course was followed correctly by the runners.<\/div>\n
The 6th ANNUAL TAKING STRIDES FOR BETTER HEALTH 5K was held under great running conditions for mid-August; sunny with a slight breeze and a temperature of 72 at race start. 72 runners and walkers entered the event with 34 completing the 5K course. Awards went to the Top 3 finishers.<\/div>\n
Finish line and results services were provided by the Peninsula Track Club.<\/div>\n
