The 22nd Annual Yorktown Battlefield Ten Miler & 5K runs were held on the tour roads of the Yorktown Battlfield on Saturday morning, November 7, 2015. The race was sponsored by the Yorktown Lion's Club. The 10 Miler was also the 10th race in the 2015 PTC 11-race Grand Prix Series. Both courses started and finished near Surrender Field on the battlefield. Conditions at race time for the 5K were cloudy, humid and warm for November with a temperature of 71 at race start. For the Ten Miler, conditions were cloudy and humid with a temperature of 73 at race start. About 1 hour and 15 minutes into the Ten Miler a steady light rain began and temperatures began to drop. A total of 160 runners entered the events with 114 registered in the Ten Miler and 46 in the 5K. 101 runners completed the Ten Miler and 38 completed the 5K course.
