Trans5kSep11 Age Group Winners
The 1st Annual Transitions 5K held on the
Matteson Trail that circles The Hampton’s Golf Course in Hampton, VA. The race was held on September 10, 2011. The event was organized by Transitions Family Violence Services, dedicated to ending Domestic Violence. The race itself was conducted and results were generated by the Peninsula Track Club. Conditions at race time were sunny, warm and humid with temperatures in the 70s at race time. The 5K run followed the Matteson Trail and was run correctly by the
runners. This course is not USATF certified.
47 runners entered the 5K with 41completing the course.
Among the age group award winners was Mayor of Hampton, Molly Ward.
