2014 RESULTS:
The award winners for the 10th Annual Grafton Cold F-F-Feet 5K,
a cross country road race held on the trails around Grafton High School
in York County. The race was held on Saturday morning, February 1, 2014.
The 5K is sponsored by the Grafton High School Boosters. The race was
conducted by the Peninsula Track Club.
This year the 5K certainly lived up to its name. Conditions at race time
were sunny and cold with little wind, temperatures around 40, but the
course which is mostly a trails was over ground that still remained
mostly covered with snow and slush from the recent snowstorm. The
modified course was accurately measured, but is not USATF certified.
99 runners braved the conditions and entered the 5K (down from 177 in
2013) with 90 (brave) runners completing the course (down from 162 in 2013). The
low numbers were likely a result of the bad weather earlier in the week
The race officiating and results were done by the Peninsula Track Club.
