Fellow PTC runners,
Weather-permitting, we’ll be doing our first PTC Pub Run at Oozlefinch Beers & Blending, 81 Patch Rd, Ft. Monroe, tomorrow evening, 8 July 2020, at 6 PM. We’ll meet in the parking lot, sign in so I can keep track of everyone, and try to get on the course as close to 6 PM as possible.
The food truck on the schedule is The Black Pearl, which specializes in grilled & fried seafood (theblackpearlfoodtruck.com), although they do have other items. They will only be on-site from 3-7 PM, so I recommend you consider placing your food order before you run and ask them to have it ready when you return.
Oozlefinch closes at 8 PM. Attached is a 5K course I laid out for those who want a route to try, or if you know Ft. Monroe well you can just go for a run and join us for (socially-distanced) socializing, beverages, and food if you want it.
Don’t forget your mask (for inside the brewery when ordering beverages) and credit card for beverages/food (many places still aren’t accepting cash due to COVID-19 concerns). Hope to see you there!
