Per Jim Elder, the race is a go for 9/5/20. The Two Shilling 1 miler starts at 7 AM and the 5K at 7:30 AM. The race is currently closed to new entries except virtual participants. The other exception is for Tidewater Striders, Peninsula Track Club and Colonial Road Runners who have not signed up, but want to run for points for the Super Grand Prix or the CRR Grand Prix or Triple Crown. Any member of these three clubs must sign up by July 25th, 2020. The fee is $35.00 and you must email Jim (jim@colonialsportscustom.com) with your information (your name, age, gender, phone number, email, and mailing address) by next Saturday, July 25th. The race is $35 and there will be no refunds if it has to be cancelled or made virtual only.
There will not be prize money this year. There will prizes for Top three men and women but not cash. Only in person race day participants can win age group awards or get points towards the CRR Grand Prix.
Rule for virtual runners: sign up by 6 PM Sept 4th, 2020. Run any 5K distance (you cannot use another race as your time) and provide your time and we will post it in the results. Virtual Runners have until 9/30/2020 to finish their run. All receive a Race T, Finisher medal and swag bag. Items will be ready for pick up on Sept 4th, 2020 from 12-6 PM at Colonial Sports.
